Wedding Themed Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday. She had a wedding themed birthday party which was as beautiful as it sounds!

Decorations

We used ALL the wedding pictures we could find and placed them out as decorations. 

Large tissue paper flowers were made in blush tones.

We also hung my sister's old wedding dress and put up wedding dolls we got as children

Food

We stuck with basic "wedding" type foods

Meat Tray w/

    Turkey

     Ham

     Cheddar Cheese Cubes

     Pickles

     Dijon mustard

     Sliced french bread

Fruit Tray w/

    Strawberries

    Oranges

    Grapes

Veggie Tray w/

     Broccoli
     Cauliflower
     Carrots
     Button Mushrooms

Loaded Ranch Dip to (click for recipe) and Chips

Wedding Cake flavored cupcakes
     (white cake mix with almond extract added)

Crafts and Games

We made wedding rings. I've pinned a couple different versions of ring craft for kids in the Wedding Themed Birthday Party Pinterest board. 

We also made bride bouquets with different paper flowers. We had a couple different kinds of flower templates that the kids were able to do themselves and then they made bride bouquets out of them. See Wedding Themed Birthday Party Pinterest board for different paper flower tutorials. 

The Wedding Dress Game

To Play the Wedding Dress Game...

Buy toilet tissue.

Split your guests into teams.

Have the teams make wedding dresses out of the tissue.

The team with the best wedding dress wins!

Pinata
